V1 got into a verbal argument with D1, a juvenile, over mental health issues. During the argument, D1 struck V1 in the face with a cologne bottle.

During the investigation, it was determined that D1 was the primary aggressor and was placed under arrest. D1 was transported to the Volusia Family Resource Center for further processing.

V1 and D1, who reside together and are in a romantic relationship, were in an altercation reference infidelity. When confronted by V1, D1 broke his cellular telephone and attempted to physically remove V1 from their shared home.

During the physical altercation, D1 pinned V1 against a wall, holding him by his throat and restricting his ability to breathe.

V1 sustained multiple injuries which did not require medical attention. D1 met with deputies at the District 4 office where he was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

D1 and D2, who are married, live together and have multiple children in common, were in a verbal altercation, during which D1 dumped a drink on D2 as he laid on the couch.

D2 responded by taking ahold of D1 and slapping her in the face, causing her to fall on the floor. Both parties refused to separate, instead grabbing several barstools and threatening one another.

The two continued to punch and slap each other while W1 contacted law enforcement. Neither party sustained injuries as a result of the fight.

D1 and D2 were taken into custody and charged accordingly. All juveniles were turned over to O1, their grandmother.

Director Quann and DCF were notified.

R1, the store manager of Deltona Tobacco and Vape, discovered this morning that the business had been burglarized. Reviewing security footage, he observed an unidentified suspect smashing the front glass door of the establishment to gain entry at 0345 hours.

The suspect proceeded to steal approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise before fleeing. Deputies obtained video surveillance footage and conducted a neighborhood canvass. CID and the Crime Scene Unit were alerted and responded.

During the investigation, D1 was identified, contactedand arrested for Burglary and Grand Theft.

On 06/03/2024, at 2325 hours, unknown young males illegally entered the school campus and began to deface the buildings and concrete around the school with spray paint.

The subjects threw the spray paint cans on top of the roof of the auditorium. The cans were collected and submitted into evidence. Director Quann and Captain Smith were notified of the incident. Case status: Active.

V1 advised D1, a juvenile, wanted to go to the DMV to get her learner's permit. V1 told her no due to not having her Social Security card readily available.

This angered D1 and she began grabbing items and throwing them at V1, attempting to hit her with them. Family members inside the residence witnessed the event.

Lake Helen Police Department had a vehicle flee from them. Vehicle was stop sticked by New Smyrna Beach Police Department and D1 then ran from the vehicle. Deputies conducted an attempt to contact for V1, who advised the vehicle was in fact stolen (keys left in vehicle). D1 was then located by Senior Deputy Davis & K9 Ax (no dog bite). Driver was subsequently taken into custody by Lake Helen Police Department for grand theft of motor vehicle and fleeing & eluding, along with other charges.
