The airport security dude who's wearing 2 watches should get an oscar for his performance.

They were begging it with this English family 😂😂
The father's OTT behaviour was unmatched. But it also used the white men's ignorance and racism as presumably an attempt to feature cultural differences 😬
Tintin came through once again though! Up to her antics with her big personality. Even more funny because it's totally believable. I've met people like that 😅😂
But asides from that, it was not as humourous or interesting as the first sadly. Especially sad because they claimed this would be crazier. It wasn't. At all. Opposite, actually.

most nigerian movies tend to be :/ and i don’t normally mind but yeah this was lacking the camp factor 90s-00s nollywood movies usually have (mama g aka original wicked gyal and some other heavy hitters do cameo though). it’s a fun little teehee moment but could have gone so so much harder in its commentary. which is fine i guess, cause they’re made more for pure entertainment and not to critique society but it does facilitate some interesting conversations. i NEED to go to a nigerian wedding.
i really wanna watch a lot more nollywood movies this year!!! it’s been so long since i’ve watched them properly and not just seen clips at my cousin’s grandma’s house or tiktok…

me, i just wanted peace!! everyday colonialism!!! 😩😓😩😩😩😩😩
The Wedding Party is better and this sequel further cements my opinion that interracial romance movies are inferior to intercultural ones.and they started with my least favorite Davido song, ah. i watched way more than half before i gave up, which saddens me but it’s fine. the reality is i’m still pumped for Namaste Wahala.

An unneeded sequel to an already good film. Doesn't really compare to the original.

______________________________I genuinely had no idea what was going on for 2/3 of the movie, but I really enjoyed this movie, and I would be more than happy to watch a 3rd one for that last couple.

Not a fan of the inclusion of racist father-of-the-bride character. But still love TinTin and Sola and Dunni and Harrison and the rest of the gang! Even that one wedding crasher dude makes a reappearance!
Not as over the top crazy as the first film which is a bummer. -

The bride’s father was highkey racist but all is forgiven because he looks good in agbada. Can’t wait for the third!!
