MRS, MELVINA M. FRYE WINTEH HAVEN (By Staff Writer) Mrs. Melvina M. Frye, 81, formerly of Winter Haven and Lake Alfred, died yesterday in a Melbourne hospital. A member of the Method ist Church, she moved to Eau Gillie 12 years ago.

Survivors include her a Daniel Frye; two sons, D. M. Frye of Eau Gallie and Cecil Frye of Medford, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Carn of Lakeland and Mrs. Mary Moldovan of Medford; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

LERCH SOUTH VENICE (Special) David II. Lerch, 67, 12 S. Venice died Sunday at Venice Hospital. He was born in Mil-lersburg, and came here in I960 from Canton, Ohio. He was a general foreman for Republic Steel for 41 years.

He was a member of the Orchard Hill Country Club, Canton; and the Republic Steel Foreman's Club, Central Alloy District. He was a member of Central Methodist Church and the Detroit Yacht Club in Detroit, the Winter Haven Elks Lodge, the Ameri can Dental Society and a former member of the local Lake Region Yacht and Country Club. He was a graduate of the den tal school of Marquette University in Detroit and a member of its alumni association. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle A. Adams; a daughter, Mrs.

Mathieu, 52, of 135 E. Pierce died Monday in the Winter Haven Hospital. A native of Sherrard, W.Va., Mrs. Mathieu had lived in Florida 37 years, living in Lakeland, West Palm Beach, Auburndale and in Lake Alfred since November, 1962. She was co-owner and operator with her husband of the Helen and Harvey Restaurant here.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Winter Haven, and the Ladies of the Moose in Lakeland. Surviving are her husband, Harvey R. Mathieu; a sister, Mrs. Grace Watrosbky, Fort Lauderdale, and a brother, Erwin Black of Sherrard.

MRS. ANNA TAYLOR PUNTA GORTJA (Special) Mrs. Anna C. Taylor, 77, a winter visitor at the Porpoise Point Trailer Park at Pine Island, died yesterday in a local hospital. She was a native of De troit, and had come to this area from there.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elvira Hopkins of Detroit and Mrs. Ruth Macer of St. Ignace, and one grandchild. MRS.
