Congrats on the launch. She is a beautiful boat and looks great on the water.

Fantastic. What a great-looking build, especially the wrap-around cabin windows! Enjoy.

So… I have a bit of water in the bilge. When does one become concerned? Also, it seems to ride a bit high. What should I know about ballast and the use thereof?

I would check rudder and prop shaft packing for leaks. Look for any leaks around through hull penetrations. Glen L designs are usually pretty dry but accessories and equipment can be a source of leaks.
It looks like it's floating similarly to other Sweet 16s. Maybe once you have it loaded up it will settle down. How does the design water line compare?

Hello cno........,
What a nice looking Tug.
I can imagine just how pleased you are.
Sorry I can't help with the source of water in the bilge.
It looks like it's an inboard (?) so perhaps the seal in the shaft log? Ah!! I see Roberta beat me to it!!!
Also, I like the color very much. What color and kind of paint is it. Thanks!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I’m sure it’s builder error! Looks like all the usual suspects are clean. Rudder and drive shaft. There seems to be a small leak on the water pickup thread, but not enough for the amount. I’ll keep poking.
The colors are interlux but I forget the specific name. Dark boy and light blue! And Matterhorn white. Great paint. I’ve really liked it.
