The key is to make a fairly thick batter. Since not all cookies are the same size and weight, you'll want to use approximately ¼ cup cookie crumbs to 3 tablespoons of milk for this recipe. So, that may be as little as one cookie for some types and as many as 10 for others.

What Size Mug Do I Need for a Mug Cake?

This recipe is designed to go into your average 10-12 ounce coffee mug. You can double the ingredients and make it in a larger mug for a bigger serving, or leave in your regular coffee mug.

When choosing a mug, you just have to make sure that the one you pick is microwave safe. This isn't designed for a travel mug that may have a stainless steel exterior. I prefer generic coffee mugs and have plenty on hand to choose from. You can, also, choose a special microwave soup container that is made just for this if you wish.
