People have created telephones capable of video calling, virtual art museums, and even a working recreation of Pokemon Red all within the confines of Minecraft. Players are only limited by the confines of their imaginations. There's no shortage of potential entries for a list of impressive Minecraft builds. This one includes 10 aesthetically pleasing Minecraft creations. We made sure to not include more than 1 per builder.

10 A Magical Night by The Voxel Box

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (1)

HyperScale posted this image in r/Minecraft 4 years ago. Redditers were wowed by this whimsical fairy-tale town. People upvoted the image over 1.4 thousand times.

According to the comments, three players (Spectercody, Sounas, and Doublenum) built it. HyperScale rendered it for our viewing pleasure. We imagine a lot of young kids want to play on this Disney-inspired map!

9 Defenseless by ShapeScape

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (2)

ShapeScape is a Minecraft build team with roots in 18 different countries. Their design team has been crafting crazy creation since 2013. Like others on the list, ShapeScape is a certified Minecraft Partner. They make content to sell on the Minecraft Marketplace.

Defenseless won first place at Planet Minecraft's The Barbarians Are Coming! contest. The ShapeScape team wanted to play with the concept of the seven deadly sins. The full map includes a city surrounded by a giant wall, with war machines ready to break it down. They describe the theme as, "by not accepting the existence of sin, we put ourselves into an increased likelihood of failure to be pure."

8 A Lunar Dream by Everbloom Studios

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (3)

The third-place winner of the Head into the Clouds Project Contest is heavily inspired by astrology. Although not pictured, the citadel is surrounded by various floating planets. Pink trees form the habitat of various mythological creatures. According to the team, A Lunar Dream represents Heaven. This is a place only the pure of heart may enter.

Everbloom Studios is yet another team with a collection of talented builders. They are an official partner with Minecraft, providing their creations as purchasable maps in the Minecraft Marketplace. This particular project was created by 10 individuals and we could not be more impressed. Their other work, Providence, definitely deserves a spot here as well.

7 Hearthveil - Lost in Thought by Pandora's Blocks

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (4)

Hearthveil, like the previous entry, was a submission to Planet Minecraft's Head into the Clouds contest. It was the second-place winner (first place was taken by BlockWorks). According to the design team, Hearthveil is meant to be a representation of a traveler's true nature.

It took the efforts of 10 individuals over a month to produce this whimsical forest. Although the team does not have a working official website as of today (it appears they have gone inactive), archives of their work can still be found on Planet Minecraft under Hydraxus's account.

6 The City of Adamantis by jamdelaney1

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (5)

There are only two other entries on this list that were done by an individual rather than a large team. Adamantis, City of the Gods, was created by Planet Minecraft user jamdelaney1 in roughly three months. He was last active 7 years ago and has only submitted three of his original designs.

We admire an individual creating purely for the fun of it. He offered downloads for free and the map was not created as an entry for any contest or as paid work. Jamdelaney1 was simply a fan of Minecraft. A normal player like any of us.

5 Deep Sea by BlockWorks

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (6)

BlockWorks is one of the foremost build teams in the world. Founded in 2013, they have grown to include over 30 members. Calling them a build team sells them short though. In reality, they are much more than that. They're a design studio and a consultancy with esteemed clients like Warner Brother, Disney, Verizon, and Dell.

Athion is a smaller build team. Originally they were formed by only four members coming from the Minecraft servers Mithrintia and PI Creative. Their team has since expanded to include 20 individual builders. They are professionals who sell their work mostly to server owners looking to spice up their lobbies.

Macabre Infestation was built by 5 individuals in only 3 days as a part of a competition with the incredible BlockWorks team. Their innovative take on the atmosphere of horror solidifies a place on this list. Planet Minecraft offers a free download of the map for players to explore this beauty in its complete majesty.

10 Most Impressive Builds In Minecraft (8)

According to the lore, the snow fortress was created by the mages of A'therys as a sanctuary for their order. The Spires of Lyceum are named for the five schools of magic: wind, earth, nature, ice/water, and fire/lava.

In reality, this was built by 7 players for the A'therys Ascended Server back in 2012. Regrettably, the team no longer appears to be active. However, their Youtube channel GazamoNetworkcontains videos of all of their work, including a video tour of the Spires themselves.
